    WITCHES SUPPORT BUHARI'S  ANTI-CORRUPTION WAR
Witches have declared support for the anti-corruption campaign by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Declaring the support in Lagos, spokesperson for White Witches Association of Nigeria, WHIWTAN, Dr Okhue Iboi, said decision to back Buhari’s anti-corruption crusade was taken at the end of an emergency meeting of the association that took place at Ofosu, Edo State.
“As stakeholders in the project called Nigeria, we can’t fold our arms and pretend that all is well with our nation. It will not only amount to act of unpatriotism if we decide to look the other way while others are speaking out on way forward for Nigeria,” Ibori stated.
“Following our worries over Nigeria, the general assembly of witches decided to hold this meeting. In attendance were witches from all the 36 states of Nigeria including Katsina, the home state of Buhari. It was at the end of this meeting that the unanimous decision was taken that we should support Buhari to fight corruption. There was no dissenting voice – we also took other decisions on some national issues affecting the country.”
Calling on Buhari to be resolute, the spokesperson said the President should not be afraid to step on toes in his avowed determination to sanitise the country.
“These looters are even lucky that it was Buhari that was going after them to expose and punish them. On our own, we had decided to wage spiritual war against  them, and our own punishment would have been harsher. But but since Buhari has decided to take up the challenge, we have decided to support him. Buhari should not be afraid. I want to assure him that no human force can overcome him.
We have one or two piece of advice that we want to give him if he can send emissaries to us or invite us to Aso Rock. Contrary to the wrong impression by some people, white witches are not evil people. We liberate people from evil people. We are messengers of God, and for over 20 years now, we have been speaking regularly in the media on some national issues,” he said.
Speaking on the fate of Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike regarding election rerun which the court has ordered, Iboi urged Wike to pray very well as he may not return to the Government House.
“The ball is in Wike’s court. If he wants to remain as governor of Rivers State, he should pray very well otherwise the wind of change currently sweeping across the country will blow him away. But if he does all the needful, he will retain his seat,” he said.
On the crisis rocking All Progressives Congress, APC over Saraki’s leadership of the Senate, Iboi said APC may break into splinter groups.
Urging the National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Buhari to continue to work together for the benefit of Nigerians, the spokesperson said:
“The partnership between Buhari and Tinubu is divinely ordained, but let it be known to the two of them that some people even within APC are not happy with the union between the two men. They want the two of them to clash. Some saboteurs who I will call enemies of Nigeria are desperate to separate them, but they will fail in their ungodly mission.”
Speaking on why former President Goodluck Jonathan lost 2015 election, Iboi said one of the factors was that Jonathan disobeyed witches.

REASON WHY SHORT MEN HAVE FEWER LOVERS REVEALED

SHORT MEN really do miss out on a lot of things, according to a study. Researchers looking at how people’s height and weight affected the number of sexual partners they had had found short men had the least. However, they were surprised to note that tall men did not always have the best sex lives.
The study of 60,058 heterosexual men and women aged 30 to 44 found that their average number of sexual partners was eight.
Researchers said there was little difference in the number of partners across the height range with one exception—very short men. While men of other heights had a median of seven sexual partners, those between 5ft 2in and 5ft 4in had only five, the team from Chapman University, California, found.
Regarding weight, normal and overweight men reported the most sexual partners, while underweight men had the least. Underweight women also had notably fewer partners, said the journal Evolutionary Psychology.

Abiodun Faleke loses thrust as Kogi West assures support for Bello

The political camp of Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, Kogi State Deputy Governor-Elect was thrown into disarray Monday, as leaders of his Kogi West leaders changed track and declared support for the Governor-Elect, Alh. Yahaya Bello.

The leaders, numbering about 50 said they have decided to congratulate and work with the Governor -Elect because of their belief in his capacity to bring development and unity to the state.
The group, under the leadership of Hon. Clarence Olafemi and Sen. Dino Melaye said the people of Kogi West has agreed to abide by the supremacy of the party which they believe is in line with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Also, the Kogi West leaders frowned at the refusal of Faleke to accept the Deputy Governorship, saying Kogi West leaders have already initiated a process of replacing Faleke in the event he carries out his threat of not attending the January 27, 2016 swearing-in ceremonies in Lokoja.
The group urged the component units in the state to liaise with the Governor-Elect to ensure that the people are in unity of purpose, saying the present scenario is an opportunity for the people to show strength in the cultural and political diversity of the state.
The communiqué was signed by Kogi West leaders such as Chief Clarence Olafemi, Chief J.O. Yusuf, Chief Gbenga Asagun and many others.

Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO Martin Shkreli arrested by the F.B.I on securities fraud charges

A boyish-looking entrepreneur who became the new face of corporate greed when he jacked up the price of a lifesaving drug fiftyfold was led away in handcuffs by the FBI on unrelated fraud charges Thursday in a scene that left more than a few Americans positively gleeful.
Martin Shkreli, a 32-year-old former hedge fund manager and relentless self-promoter who has called himself “the world’s most eligible bachelor” on Twitter, was arrested in a grey hoodie and taken into federal court in Brooklyn, where he pleaded not guilty. He was released on $5-million (U.S.) bail.

If convicted, he could get up to 20 years in prison. He left court without speaking to reporters. His attorneys had no immediate comment.
Online, many people took delight in his arrest, calling him a greedy, arrogant “punk” who gave capitalism a bad name and got what was coming to him. Some cracked jokes about lawyers jacking up their hourly fees 5,000 per cent to defend him in his hour of need.
Prosecutors said that between 2009 and 2014, Shkreli lost some of his hedge fund investors’ money through bad trades, then looted Retrophin, a pharmaceutical company where he was CEO, for $11-million to pay back his disgruntled clients.
Shkreli “engaged in multiple schemes to ensnare investors through a web of lies and deceit,” U.S. Attorney Robert Capers said in a statement.
Shkreli was charged with securities fraud and conspiracy. A second defendant, lawyer Evan Greebel, of Scarsdale, New York, was charged with conspiracy and also pleaded not guilty.
In September, Shkreli was widely vilified after a drug company he founded, Turing Pharmaceuticals, spent $55-million for the U.S. rights to sell a medicine called Daraprim and promptly raised the price from $13.50 to $750 per pill.
The 62-year-old drug is the only approved treatment for toxoplasmosis, a rare parasitic disease that mainly strikes pregnant women, cancer patients and AIDS patients.
The move sparked outrage on the presidential campaign trail and helped prompt a Capitol Hill hearing on drug prices. Headlines called the Brooklyn-born Shkreli such thing as “America’s most hated man,” the “drug industry’s villain” and “biotech’s bad boy” – and those were just some of the more printable names.
Hillary Clinton called it price-gouging and said the company’s behaviour was “outrageous.” Donald Trump called Shkreli “a spoiled brat.” Bernie Sanders returned a donation from Shkreli.
Prosecutors said the investigation that led to Shkreli’s arrest dated back to last year, before the furor over the drug-price increase.
Shkreli defended the increase by saying that insurance and other programs would enable patients to get the drug and that the profits would help fund research into new treatments.
But he also made an unapologetic business-is-business argument for the price jump. In fact, he recently said he probably should have raised it more.
“No one wants to say it, no one’s proud of it, but this is a capitalist society, a capitalist system and capitalist rules,” he said in an interview at the Forbes Healthcare Summit this month. “And my investors expect me to maximize profits, not to minimize them or go half or go 70 per cent but to go to 100 per cent of the profit curve.”
Amid the uproar, Shkreli said Turing would cut the price of Daraprim. Last month, however, Turing reneged. Instead, the company is reducing what it charges hospitals for Daraprim by as much as 50 per cent.
While most patients’ copayments will be $10 or less a month, insurance companies will be stuck with the bulk of the tab, potentially driving up future treatment and insurance costs.
On Thursday, Robert Weissman, president of the watchdog group Public Citizen, said Shkreli got “a deserved comeuppance.”
“Al Capone was brought down for tax evasion, but he committed many worse crimes,” Weissman said. “So if Shkreli’s arrested for securities violations, it’s a comparable justice.”
Shkreli is known as a prolific user of Twitter and often livestreams his work day over the Internet, inviting people to chat with him at his desk. He refers to those who follow him online as his “fans.”
Recently it emerged that he bought the only copy of a Wu-Tang Clan album titled “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin,” which the hip-hop group sold on the condition that it not be released publicly. He said he paid $2-million.
Capers, the chief federal prosecutor, sidestepped a question about whether authorities had seized Shkreli’s album, and said: “We’re not aware of how he raised the funds to buy the Wu-Tang album.”
Last month, Shkreli was named chairman and CEO of KaloBios Pharmaceuticals after buying a majority stake in the struggling cancer drug developer. After his arrest, its stock fell by more than half Thursday before trading in the company was suspended.

FIVE KILLED & SEVEN INJURED AS JTF CLASHES WITH BIAFRA SUPPORTERS IN ONITSHA CELEBRATING NNAMDI KANU'S RELEASE

The shooting which took place at the Niger bridge head, left seven others injured.
Four of the victims shot dead were members of both IPOB and MASSOB, while one person is said to be a soldier who was lynched by the mob.
Vanguard reports that the clash ensued after soldiers opened fire on a jubilant crowd of pro-Biafra agitators.
All the markets around the Niger bridge head, including the bridge head market, Onitsha patent and propitiatory medicine dealers market (Ogbo Ogwu market) and other markets located around the bridge, including Abada market were quickly shut down, following sporadic shooting by the military to scare the jubilant crowd away.
According to an eye-witness at the Onitsha head bridge, the Biafra agitators were said to have been marching on the road near the River Niger bridge, chanting solidarity songs in jubilation for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, and were accosted by the soldiers, who ordered them to go back.
It was when the pro-Biafra groups refused to go back that the soldiers allegedly opened fire on them.
Some other sources report that the pro-Biafra agitators and those sympathetic to their cause were jubilating, singing and dancing near the bridge and in annoyance the soldiers who had been guarding the bridge opened fire on them, shooting four people.
The police spokesman, Ali Okechukwu, confirmed the clash and accused the pro-Biafra agitators of mobilizing over 100 of their members to launch an attack on the soldiers at the Niger bridge head.
He said the agitators also tried to dispossess the security operatives of their guns.
Okechukwu who was silent on the number of people killed, said: “I learnt that there was a disagreement between the Army, IPOB and MASSOB members, who mobilized over 100 of their members to attack soldiers at the Niger bridge head.”
He said that he was trying to get the army authorities to comment on the incident, but unfortunately they were not answering his calls.
Speaking on the incident, the leader of MASSOB, Uchenna Madu, said the news of the release of Kanu elicited singing, dancing and jubilation in Onitsha and other ‘Biafran’ lands.
He said that those Biafrans in Onitsha took their dance to the Chukwemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu plaque at the Niger bridge head and out of envy the soldiers who mounted a roadblock there opened fire on the dancing protesters and killed four.
According to him, no amount of intimidation, harassment and killing of their members will make them resort to violence.
He added: “The military is doing all sorts of things to push us into violence, but we will never do that because that is what has been setting us free in all the harassment and intimidation we have been going through.”
Sources say that immediately the four people were killed, the police, army, navy and civil defence units which had been harassing and intimidating the residents at their checkpoints abandoned the roads.
The seven people who sustained bullet wounds were transferred to Multi Care Hospital, Onitsha, and the bodies of the dead were reportedly taken to a yet to be identified hospital in Onitsha.
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja yesterday ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to immediately release  the detained leader of the IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
The court directed that Kanu, who had been in detention since October 17,  should be released
Ruling on the fundamental rights suit by Kanu, the trial judge, Justice Ademola Adeniyi, said there was no basis for the applicant to remain in custody since there was currently no charge pending against him.
The court order came barely 24 hours after an Abuja chief magistrate’s court sitting at Wuse Zone 2 struck out
